Signs of age
In our 20’s we start to notice the appearance of fine lines. Our pores increase in size, and our skin is affected by the changes in the environment particularly in harsh conditions such as cold winters.
Between the ages of 30 and our mid 40’s the skin around the eyes start to sag and the facial skin loses some of its elasticity. More wrinkles start to appear and more defined.
Firmly set in middle age the skin appears and feels rougher and changes colour slightly, taking on a more sallow yellow complexion.
Past the half century mark we are inundated with wrinkles and lines plus the appearance of dark circles around the eyes.
And at the same all this is occurring we lose our hair and where we would like it reduces and appears in abundance in our ears, nose and eyebrows.
What can we do to combat these effects?
Moisturising the skin ensure it is hydrated and protected. Most moisturizers contain a sunscreen element to a SPF 15 at least.
Use products that contain antioxidant vitamins A C and E. These are used to combat the effects of free radicals which are the destructive cells that destroy cellular membranes
